This is me eating some yummy beef stew from Draegers yesterday...

I've decided that I'm going to have 'Red Hot Fridays', so I'm going to try to wear red every Friday.

Did I mention we have barbeques at work every Friday?   I've set up a streaming webcast so if you're around at noon on a Friday, come check out our BBQ live!

So I bought this mirror from Brookstone the other day.  It's a little expensive ($99) but I love it!   

"Touch Light 3X Magnifying Mirror. This mirror has an adjustable swivel head, 3X magnification and lights up with the touch of the fingertip to let you view yourself in close detail.

It's so cool.  All you do is tap the mirror or the base and it turns on with a dim light.  Tap it again and it gets brighter.  One more tap and it's the brightest.

I'm buying my new gun tomorrow!   This is what it'll probably look like after I put the C-More Sight on it.

It's a SVI frame with a Caspian slide and I'll probably get a Limcat holster and Limcat mag holders.  But I haven't decided yet.  Gonna shop around a little first.

Thank you to Angelo for sending me this awesome Pets.com Sock Puppet!  I got a big box from Amazon and had no idea what was in it or who it was from.  But when I opened it up... Surprise!  I almost ordered it online several months ago but didn't.

Here's a picture of my macrame sweater.  It's sooo comfortable, I love it!

So Dave Lau and I are now both at Level 21 in Diablo II.  He has a Paladin and I have an Amazon.  We have put together the Horadic Staff and are now going to Tal Rasha's tomb.  It's all pretty complex but a lot of fun.  We are so addicted to DII!

I did my toenails on the cam today.   Did anyone catch that?   I didn't do any screen captures though.  Oh well.

8-7-2000 Monday

Woohoo what a great weekend I had! First Friday nite I went out to dinner and a movie with Kirk and Jansen.  We saw "Hollow Man" which wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.  Special effects were pretty cool.

I got home about 1:30am, went online and there were my Diablo buddies ready to fire up a game.  We all ended up playing Diablo II til 5am my time!! Those guys live in Hawaii so it was only 2am their time.  

Then Saturday I went out shopping for a little bit, then went out to a party. It was a retro 80's theme party and some people actually dressed up.  

I got home about 2:30am and then woke up to go shooting Sunday morning.   Omigosh it was sooooo much fun!  Jansen, Kirk, King, Samson and I went out to this outdoor range in Richmond and we shot 5 stages!  It's really awesome.  Each stage is really different so you test your shooting accuracy, speed, ability to draw from the holster, changing your magazines...  FUN!

I did ok considering I haven't been shooting for very long. I shot better than some of the people who have expensive guns designed specifically for this type of competition.  We were all shooting with our regular factory guns.  (I have a Glock 19 9MM.)   I'm considering buying a competition gun though.  But I have to decide if I want to invest about $2K into this.

I was on the phone with this guy from England. We were trying to do an interview online for a new TV series set to go into production.   They just want to get 30 seconds of footage of me for a "Web Bite".
