5-18-2000 Thursday Nite You may have noticed a new little gadget on my desk today. Did you see this "floating message clock" on the cam?
This is what it actually looks like...
It's a Programmable Desktop Message Clock which displays messages floating in air. Pretty cool stuff baby.
And here's a closeup pic of my shirt today...
I like it cuz it's got that whole "I'm watching you" theme going on. ____________________________________ And a few more pics of our new office as they're getting ready for us to move in...

VIRUS
ALERT!
THE VIRUS IS POLYMORPHIC, meaning it has the ability to
change itself as it propagates. Each time it infects a machine, it takes
on a new name, which makes it harder for potential victims to recognize
and harder for antivirus programs to detect. Weve gone to a high danger rating on this one because it deletes everything in the system, and because its in the wild said David Perry, public education director at Trend Micro. But we dont know yet how widespread its going to be.
The virus is akin the the LOVEBUG in some ways it arrives as
a visual basic scripting file, with the extension .vbs. Potential victims
must double-click on the file to be infected. It also sends copies of
itself to everyone in the victims address book. 5-17-2000 Wednesday Nite Here are a few pics of our cool new office. The first pic... I'm holding a bunch of cables. We did some cabling there a couple weeks ago.
And here are a few pics taken at the launch party last weekend.
Doesn't it look like an awesome place to work? And I'm going to get to climb up there to set up our cams when we finally move in. ____________________________________ So when I went back to work on Monday, I bought my Sega Dreamcast in cuz I knew they had moved the TV and JT's Sega to the new office. Since we hadn't moved in there yet, everyone at work was Segaless for a whole week. At the end of the day Monday, I asked "So are we gonna do a little butt kickin or what?" and they said that the TV was in the new office. I said, "Well all we have to do is hook my Sega up to the projector and someone's speakers and we're all set." They were like, "Oh... oh yeah." Unfortunately, Tom left the projector at his house. So being the resourceful person I am, I decided to hook the Sega up to my video encoding PC which has a video capture card, plug in my own speakers and we were ready to rock. It was kinda lame playing on my 17" monitor but we got our quick fix. The next day Tom bought in the projector and we were all set. Nothing like Soul Calibur projected across the conference room wall, blasting out of some kick-ass Logitech speakers. The SOUL STILL BURNS!!!!!
____________________________________ Thank you to my buddy Chris Pate at Logitech for sending me this link to a bunch of pics from E3. Check it out!
I just saw on the Tonight Show that Jay Leno was at E3!! Man, had I seen him, I totally would have stalked him. Darn. 5-17-2000 Wednesday Took a screen capture early today while I actually remembered to do it...
Thank you to Seiichi for sending me a few more E3 pics. We had fun hanging out at E3, even though I could only get away from booth duty for a few minutes. Oh yeah, I stalked Hank Azaria! He's Helen Hunt's husband and he was in Godzilla and The Mystery Men. I spotted him at E3 with some guy that I recognized as some famous producer type or something. Anyway, I followed them around until they went into some VIP bar area. It was fun, too bad I didn't have my camera with me. Anyway, here's a picture of Lara Croft..., thanks Seiichi, you're the bomb!
5-16-2000 Tuesday Man it's been a crazy week. I left for the E3 Expo in LA last Wednesday and it was a really interesting experience. There's so much to tell I don't know where to start. For those of you who don't know what E3 is, it's a gamers conference where all the big gaming companies put up the most amazing shows and displays. It's a gamers dream and even non-gamers (men) would enjoy it. I took some pictures and made a "Best of the Booth Babes" webalbum on SpotLife. Here's a picture of John and Kirk with the Planet of the Apes booth babes.
I had my reservations about being alone in LA since I was the only SpotLife representative there, but I was part of the Logitech booth and those guys were really great. E3 is hard to describe, it's something you need to experience yourself. I was really glad I had a chance to go, even though I had to miss the SpotLife launch party. I was trying to fly back Friday night for the party and fly back Saturday morning for the last day of E3 but my flight got cancelled and well, it was basically a United Airlines nightmare. Nuff said. Thanks to those of you who have been sending screen captures from my cams. Why are they the most unflattering shots? Or do I always look that bad on the cam? Yikes. ____________________________________ Ian sent me the URL to this cool site where you pick sushi plates to tell your fortune. How cute is this?! :) Check out the Little Astrology Prince Sushi Fortune Telling Center

The capture above was taken while Trinka, the VP of Marketing and I were doing a live broadcast to the folks at Logitech who were in Hawaii.
