I found this great site that has all this information about cosmetics.  They have reviews of many different cosmetic lines by a panel of reviewers.  I found it to be very informative.  I was looking for a good eye cream.  They are currently doing a survey on best products recommended by readers but unfortunately, the results of the last survey are from 1997.   I still found it pretty useful.

According to the survey, many women thought that Origins Eye Doctor was the best eye cream.   Has anyone out there tried this?   I think I'm going to get some and try it.

Daily Cam Shot

If anyone can figure out the reason why the refresh rate on my FTP page is so slow, I would be very grateful.   It's really highly annoying to have my images update every 7 seconds or more.   Grrrrrrrr.

10-6-99 Wednesday

Hmmm, seeing a lot of funkiness with my cams lately.   First of all, the FTP refresh rate has really slowed down quite a bit and I'm not sure why.   Nothing has changed on my end but I'm wondering if it has anything to do with Geocities.   I couldn't FTP up to the server last week for several hours.   Now the refresh rate on my cams are slower than I've ever seen them and there's nothing I can change in the configuration to get it working better.

Also, my main OfficeCam froze last night at around 6pm and I didn't realize it. Just a note for the regular cam watchers.   If you notice that my OfficeCam is not refreshing for several minutes, *please* drop me a note and let me know.   The OfficeCam is going 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so it should never be down.

And lastly, the clock on my cam is always off because when too many people are watching the streaming cam, it really slows down the performance on that system.   I think after about 20-30 viewers log in, it starts to slow it down and the time on the clock starts get a little off.

Feelin much better today.  I guess things always seem to balance out.   Work is going great and I'm really happy with my new job.   I actually woke up early and cooked breakfast today.   I almost never eat breakfast but I'm trying to start this low carb/high protein thing.   I don't want to use the word diet so how about "meal plan".

I also started my Tae Bo workouts again.   Yay!  I'm feelin motivated.

10-4-99 Monday

I feel really hurt and betrayed right now.   Someone that I thought cared about me has been lying to me and now it's been confirmed by multiple sources.

I knew this person was not someone to be trusted but still, I'm really disappointed.

But I guess what goes around, comes around.   Maybe someday this person will grow up and realize that it's not ok to lie to people and hurt them.

Ev and Raf took a bunch of pictures at Bryan and Judy's wedding and here's one of me and my family.

Judy, Ev and I had our make-up done that day by make-up artists.   I usually don't wear all that silver stuff on my eyes.  I was kinda glowing that day.

SockGrrl!!!

SockGrrl is a little "radical" shall we say.  Oddly enough she has a nosering despite the fact that she has no nose.  She likes to wear a belly chain around her waist and I believe she has a couple of tattoos.  But I can't show them here because we're a "family friendly" site.  I'm not sure of her origin, but rumors are that she may be from Target or Costco.   In fact, she may not even be 100% cotton, but I would never discriminate against someone because of their fiber.
