8-30-99 Monday Welp, as some people may have guessed, I have left Macromedia and I've started a new job! Woo hoo!! It's a web company and I may give more details about it in the future but for now, I'm doing something that I really enjoy. Yes the cams are down temporarily but will be back up within a week or two hopefully.

Schmoopie and I were discussing whether or not I should buy a new motorcycle for my commuting needs. He's a cruiser type, I'm a sporty type. Sigh, we're just so different baby. He's been feelin a little under the weather lately. Poor Schmoopie... hope you feel better. I think I'm going to get DSL at home. Yeah baby, yeah!! I went to see The Sixth Sense last week with DKSF. I think he's still laughing at me. I got a little jumpy during the movie. Hey, I don't know about you but I thought it was scary. I made one of those peek-a-boo tents out of my jacket and I was peeking out during the really scary parts. Eeeek!

Ooo, I got an email from someone last week who said they thought they had a BaddGrrl sighting. "I just have to know...were you at Pier 39 on Saturday August 21, 1999? I saw this person that looked exactly like you (based on the pictures of yourself posted on your site). Anyway, let me know, I'm just curious. I have never met a webmaster of a site in person by chance! If it wasn't you, it may be your long lost evil twin I saw!" Well Adrian, congrats! Yes it was me. I was showing Larry Wong the sights and sounds of San Francisco. DKSF, Derek and I took Larry down the crookedest street in the world, Lombard St. and then we headed on down to the Pier. We went into my friend's lingerie store for a visit. No I didn't buy anything although DKSF and I were mesmerized by this very interesting outfit with strategically placed "spirals". I thought it looked uncomfortable. DKSF said it made him dizzy.
I saw this under the Wedding Ideas section. Nice little gift idea... "Take romance along with this discreet sampler, thoughtfully designed to slipinto a purse, pocket or honeymooner's bag. A little box packed with a perfect introduction to the many joys of Kama Sutra. The Weekender Kit is a sampler of The Original Oil of Love, Pleasure Balm, Wild Clove and Mint Tree Luxury Bathing Gels, and edible Honey Dust with a handmade, delicate feather applicator."
