6-24-99 Thursday

Whoa!  It's been over whole week since I've updated my Journal.   Hope y'all didn't miss me too much.  I haven't been reading other people's journals either so I have no idea what's going on.  I know Kevin, Stumpy and Lance are all new on the Asian Webmaster scene.   Or fairly new at least.   Hey guys!  What's shakin?

I've been busy with work and just generally keeping myself occupied.

It's very rare that I meet someone that motivates me to improve myself and be a better person.   I think for me, that usually comes from within.   I always think, I change for myself and not for other people.   But I love it when I meet someone who challenges and makes me want to grow and learn.

It's been kind of an emotional week for me but of course, as usual, I internalize it.   Why unleash my feelings on those around me?  I need to deal with these things on my own.

I've been thinking about the past a lot lately.  I don't think I'm dwelling on things that have happened in my past but I let events in my past affect how I act now.   But that's understandable right?   Your past has shaped you, molded you into who you are now.   You learn from your mistakes and you try not to repeat them.   That's part of growing and learning.  I'm rambling aren't I?  Oh well.

Bummer news, the new guy that sits next to Fredlet at work asked her to stop singing.   I was thinking of walking over and pummeling him but since it's time for our annual review at work, that might not look good on my performance record.   "Lorraine does NOT work well with others.  Pummels well though..."

Aidan G. sent me this image he captured.  He caught me looking at my globe.   I was plotting out my strategy for world domination and thwarting the Evil Shireen.   I will have Josh, Ian and all the studly, gorgeous Hawaiian guys I can get my hands on.
