6-14-99 Monday My little frosted flake - Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't...
So the Canadian Temptress, Shireen and I are in a territory dispute. I offered to give her all of Canada and most of the Asian countries. (Ok, not the land itself but the men in those territories) and I would get the U.S. and all of South America. I was going for quality, not quantity. She wanted me to throw in Trinidad and Tobago, I offered her the island of Margarita, Venezuela instead. She declined. We are now at a stand-off. I'm going to suggest we duke it out online at BattleZone and play a friendly game of world domination Risk.

Mare mentioned some weirdness with her Rampage page in Netscape so I went over to take a look and I saw this picture there. Whoa! I nearly fell out of my chair. Man, talk about FINE. These three gorgeous guys live in Hawaii, check out Stumpy, Tata and Lance. Um, I think I another trip to Hawaii is in order. Soon. Very soon.

Cool site, cool jurnal, cool couple. One freaky thing though, everyone says he kinda looks like Josh. I went thru Kevin's pics and didn't see any resemblance to Josh but in one pic, from that angle Kevin looked like my ex! Ack! I got so freaked out I frantically clicked on the close button and shut down Netscape entirely. Doh! No, Kevin doesn't look like my ex. Kevin is actually good-looking. Baha! He and Josh are both good-looking in their own way. Kevin sweetie, you are unique and special... just like everyone else. I wonder if Kevin knows that he is responsible for starting the whole BaddGrrl-Ian lovefest scandal? From Kevin's June 8th Journal entry: "Hey, between you and me, I wanna ask you sumpin'. I got another message from Cindyrella, she actually signed my guestbook again with info on a hair stylist from my friends wedding: "Hi there,I just wanted to recommend a hairstylist for your friends' wedding. She should contact Pumalyn (not sure if this is the correct spelling!) at Yosh's Hair Salon, which is tucked away in the Maiden Lane alley. Your friend should definitely meet with her for a consultation. Not only is she an all around nice person, but she is one hip little chicky. She can cut & style hair like nobody's business. Although I've only used her once, my girlfriends use her all the time (in fact, one of them works there). If I weren't a starving student, I would definitely see Pumalyn more often! Pumalyn is so great that after she was done redoing my rat's nest, the owner (Yosh, himself) came up to me & raved about my new do. Moreover, he even went over to Pumalyn & gave her a big fat kudos for revamping me (hmm...I must've been a mess! hehe!)If that doesn't convince your friend to go, consider this: Pumalyn is so great that she was recommended by a friend of Kristi Yamaguchi & in fact, got her hair cut & styled by her!(I believe she's sportin' the new do on her Mervyn's commercials--however, knowing Pumalyn's expertise, she could've styled it a million times better). My pal was there to meet Kristi, who happens to be a really sweet & down to earth person! Anyways, you should have your friend try her out! Meanwhile, I'll ask my friend (who's a regular client) to see if your friend can use her name as a reference. Maybe, she'll lower her fee! Anyways, pass this on to your friends! I went to see Austin Powers, the Spy Who Shagged Me on Friday. Yeah baby, yeah!!
I really liked it. Better than I liked the first one. But my friends seemed to like the first one better. I won't give anything away but I definitely recommend seeing it.
On our way to the popcorn stand, Mikey and I saw one of those little picture taking booths inside the theater and we couldn't resist. I've never done it before but it was fun...

I spent the day with Ev and Raffie yesterday. We tooled around Walnut Creek looking for a good hair stylist and make-up artist for Judy & Bryan's wedding. Anyone have any recommendations? We stopped in a Barnes and Nobles bookstore and I was really happy to find the new Thomas Harris novel, Hannibal. I love his books, I've read Red Dragon and The Silence of the Lambs. I think it's been 10 years since he wrote his last book.
