12-2-98 Ugh. I have a really bad cold today. Actually it started on Monday and I stayed home from work yesterday. I'm popping DayQuil LiquiCaps and trying not to infect my co-workers. Sorry Fredlet and Matt, no smootchies for you. I've been so nice lately I'm starting to annoy myself. I think all nice people should be taken out and beaten. Somebody beat me! Beat me senseless! Oops, too late. Ok, enough silliness. What's been going on? How was my Thanksgiving? It was great. Had dinner with my family and then spent some time shopping on Friday. Actually, the mall really wasn't that bad. I thought I would see all these crazed women fighting over sales items, but no, I was very well behaved. Didn't have to turn around and smack anyone upside their head. I'm going to do more Christmas shopping this weekend. Hopefully this time I'll actually buy presents for other people rather than myself. God I hate that. The season of giving and sharing. Ick. Bah humbug. I think we need to declare a national BaddGrrl Day where everyone sends me presents and spends time discussing how narciscisstic and self-centered I am. Hmmm, actually that may be happening as we speak. So, only 23 more shopping days til Christmas and more importantly 37 more shopping days until my birthday. Have you started shopping for my gift yet?!?!?!?! Now you may be asking yourself, "Self, why the heck would I buy BaddGrrl a birthday present?" Simple, I say to you, "Because you really *want* to".
