Well it seems the San Francisco Chronicle ran a portion of the NY Times article.  They again spelled my last name wrong, they spelled it "Cheu" when the correct spelling is "Chew".   But at least they mentioned my website finally.  I'm not sure exactly how journalists work and why the article in the Chronicle appears slightly different than the NY Times version.

I'm not sure if they ran the picture in the Chronicle since I've only seen the online version of the article.   I didn't really like that picture anyway.  But the photographer that took the picture was really nice.   He came to my house this past Saturday and unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't go for any outdoorsy pics.   So we just stayed in my living room and shot the picture there.

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the New York Times article that came out today.  I can't believe they spelled my name wrong.   Also they don't mention my website which I specifically asked them to mention if they did include me in part of the story.   And the picture that they chose to use was pretty horrendous too.  

My last name is "Chew" not "Cheu."

I spoke to the reporter and she was very gracious and apologetic.  She said that my website had been mentioned but then got edited out.  

I think that was important to the article though since it was why the originally contacted me about the article to begin with. 

Well another reporter has contacted me to do a story.   We'll see how this one goes.

So I've interviewed with this really great company and I've been waiting for the paperwork for the final offer to come in.   I just spoke with the hiring manager and he's sending out the official offer for me to sign!   I'll probably start working in a couple weeks.

And that means, back on the cam!

I'm really excited about the company and the offer.  I'll be making more money and the position is more technical.   Just what I wanted!

Also, it's sort of in the entertainment industry so I'll be working with people from different television networks which will be exciting.   The only drawback is that the commute without traffic is 45 minutes.  With traffic it could be up to an hour and a half.  Yikes!
