12-18-2000 Monday 3:20am When I say "He said" or "He replied" or "Young said", this means, that these are quotes from him. That he made these comments. If I were the one making the comments, I'd say, "I said...". Is that too hard for your simple peabrains to understand? Not that I don't agree with his comments, I'm just not going to take credit for them if they are his words. Why don't you try reading and comprehending before you start to flame. No pun intended. 12-14-2000 Thursday 3:20pm

I think I might pick up a UPS backup this weekend. Yay!
12-13-2000 Wednesday 10:40am i find
it amusing that she decries the self-absorption of bloggers who put
their lives on the web in... her blog which she put up on... the web...
also, i find it amusing that she condemns prejudice against people by
making... prejudicial statement about people. newsflash:
transies *are* freaks. i don't get the movement toward getting the public
consciousness to accept transexuals into the normal world of pasteurized
milk and sliced bread. I also don't get the fact these angry bi chicks
puport to have brains through the use of big words yet cut themselves
off at the knees through their freak-ass accoutrements which guarantees
them
Young says in a later email:
quoted from her site: I'm
also devoted to poststructuralist, feminist, and queer theorizing, with
a dash of the postcolonial. (Ask me about the translation: "would you like fries with that?" Too funny Young. You crack me up. *wink* __________________________________________________ What I'm listening to: Destiny's Child - Independent Women Pink - Most Girls
12-12-2000 Tuesday 3:10pm I am in such
a weird mood lately. It's been a weird day. Someone
sent me an email with a link to this bi-sexual woman's site where she
has written this long journal entry about me. More a critique
of me and my site. And of course a commentary about my email exchange
with Young about the transie. She calls herself "bi-queer".
Why does that sound so pretentious? Is that the word they use
now? What's wrong with bi-sexual? Sorry, I'm not up on the
queer lingo. I suppose she'll comment on my comment about
her and my ignorance on the correct terms to use here. This
concerns me. This guy emailed me yesterday saying: Hi Lorrain, You dont know me but I just wanted to let you know that I saw you in San Mateo last friday in the Japanese restaurant on 3rd avenue. I think it's called Fuji Sukiyaki. You were coming out of the private rooms with your friends and I spotted you on the way out. I *THINK* you were wearing a red V-neck sweater but I could be mistaken. Nope, he wasn't mistaken, that was me. He also said he thought he saw me at Hillsdale mall a while ago. Quite possibly since I shop there occasionally. It's always fun to be *spotted* by people. Even if they can't spell my name right. ________________________________________
2:10pm Wow, that really touched me. Remember, the things you say to someone can really make a difference. Just a word or two. 12-11-2000 Monday 11:45am It's hard to get good screen shots now cuz it's dark on the camera by the time I get around to taking the pics. I'm going to try to remember to take screen shots in the mornings from now on. Here's one from last Friday and a couple from today...
Let's see, what did I do this weekend? Not a whole lot. I went out to dinner with Kirk, King, Lisa and Mickey on Friday, then stayed home all day Sat. Studied for a little bit, then went out to a party Saturday nite. Pretty fun. A lot of people but I mostly hung out with the gang. Stayed home Sunday and tried to study some more. Then went out to dinner in Japantown. Pretty uneventful weekend but very relaxing. I think next weekend will be pretty busy. The start of all the holiday get-togethers with all my friends. I haven't even started my shopping. I hate Christmas shopping. Except for when I buy stuff for myself. Hehe. Do you think it's too geeky if I ask Santa for an APC UPS backup for Christmas?
